Government Shows It Can't Manage Money

EDITOR:
Can our government manage our money?

The U.S. Post Service began in 1775. You have had 234 years to get it right, and it is broke.

Social Security started in 1935. You have had 74 years to get it right, and it is broke.

You established Fannie Mae in 1938. You have ad 71 years to get it right and it is broke.

The War on Poverty started in 1964. You have had 45 years to get it right;you confiscate $1 trillion of our money each year and transfer it to "the Poor" - and they are still poor.

Medicare and Medicaid began in 1965. You have had 44 years to get it right and they are broke.

Freddie Mac was started in 1970. You have had 39 years to get it right and it is broke.

The Department of Energy formed in 1977 to lessen our dependence on foreign oil. It has ballooned to 16,000 employees with a budget of $24 billion a year and we import more oil than ever before. You had 32 years to get it right and it is an abysmal failure.

Mr. President, where in your mind do you think the government can manage a $1 trillion health care insurance plan? Where do we get the money from? China (they own us)? Please do not set us up for more failure.

Mr. President, just get us 31 million jobs that you promised us. And, the rest will take care of itself. We don't need our government managing our money. We don't trust you. Only in God do we trust.

I'm pretty sure the government only knows how to set themselves up for failure. But they don't like to stop there. They like to keep doing it just like a fly trying to get through a window over & over again. Heads Up! Anyone? Bueller? Anyone?
